From Sevier County News:
Jimmie Robinson accepted responsibility for killing his son-in-law, Jason Hicks, and agreed to a plea deal offered by Attorney General Jimmy Dunn.
Attorney Bruce Poston appeared with Robinson in court Thursday before Judge Richard Vance where he agreed to serve 17 and a half years in prison for the April 19, 2009 slaying.
Robinson, who is 67, won’t be eligible for parole and must serve his entire sentence.
Hicks was in the process of divorcing his wife, Wendi, when allegations that Hicks had molested one of the couple’s children surfaced.
A police investigation was conducted and Hicks was was never charged. Clinical psychologist Thomas Hanaway interviewed the couple and recommended Hicks be given full custody and Wendi should be allowed only visitation rights.
Although the police believed Hicks was not guilty of wrong doing, the Department of Children’s Services believed otherwise. After a social worker investigated the case, a DCS committee concluded the abuse had occurred…
Lawless America…The Movie is all about exposing the fact that we now live in Lawless America. We no longer have laws that are enforced because judges do whatever they want to do. America has also become lawless because government officials are dishonest and/or corrupt.
The movie will expose corruption in every state. The Movie will focus on victims. Corrupt judges and corrupt government officials will be exposed, and we will confront a number of the crooks.
If anyone has ever questioned the story of a person who has expressed the view that they were a victim of the government or of judges, this movie will prove that the odds are that the corruption report was true. In fact, there are probably tens of millions of victims in the United States who never realized what happened to them.
One feature length documentary movie is being produced. It will be shown in theaters, on Netflix, Blockbuster, and other such video places, and the movie will be presented at the Sundance Film Festival and other film festivals.
From Karen and Wendi Robinson’s interview with Bill Windsor of Lawless America:
“I do also keep a picture of him when he was about five. So cute.
That’s what I grieve for. That’s what really makes me sad. I talked to that picture a long time ago and I told him,
These little boys will have the life that you should have had.
They’re gonna catch frogs and fish and…
You know? It won’t happen to them.
That’s who I talk to and that’s who I grieve for.
It’s the child he once was.”

In the video above, Karen and Wendi Robinson discuss the clustering of child custody cases and open collusion of those working in Tennessee family court. It’s happening in Tennessee just as it’s happening all over the country. Click on the screenshot below to read about Dr. Tom P Hanaway’s involvement in another family court case there:
May the truth be told. And may the truth hurry up and free Jimmie Robinson.
You’re most welcome Jennifer. Those of us who have seen injustice have no choice except to keep speaking up until we see justice again. I’m so sorry to hear Jimmie is still in prison and I hope he and his family can somehow find ways to thrive in the middle of what’s left of that horrible situation.

I want to thank you for sharing this, and for continuing to raise awareness of the issue. Jimmie Robinson is in prison for one reason- he protected his grandchildren from abuse due to a faulty legal system and corrupt political agendas. Similar to diplomatic immunity keeping an international criminal from justice, Jason was getting away with abuse of the basest kind because of who his family is in the Sevierville community. Thank you for shining a spotlight on this grave matter and all the others that are going on in our country. As Karen said in the video, these things happen because good people do nothing. I know this family personally, and strongly believe that Jimmie would never have HAD to take matters into his own hands if the legal system was doing its job. Now, a loving, decent, kind family man is in prison, a mentally disturbed young man is dead, three boys are without a grandfather, and a daughter and her mother are swimming upstream every day in a small town that has been pitted against them. And much of this is due to Jason’s mother, who spent more time covering up her son’s illness and hiding the truth, rather than fighting for her own grandchildren. I pray the truth comes to light and Jimmie is freed, and I pray corruption like this will meet it’s end throughout our country. Thank you again for the work you are doing.
One word: POLITICS
I wonder if Stan knows that publishing the facts would set a good man free.
He still works there, his name is Stan.
Which editor of the Mountain Press? Does that editor still work there?
Yes! We did! My mother and I both went to the Editor of the Mountain Press. He of course was very interested in seeing what we had, but he never called us back like he said he would to further discuss things. He saw the proof, the mental health records, the indication by DCS, etc. but you have to understand how the “Good ol’ Boy network ” runs. Politics seem to be more important than the safety of not only my children, but others as well. It’s a very sad situation.
Hi Wendi – Did you ask the papers to print corrections? The media’s ability to influence communities and countries is as huge as the responsibility to get the story right.
This is Wendi Robinson. The only thing I will correct, is the fact that we were not and never had a divorce hearing!!!!!!! The newspapers have printed A LOT of false information. The State (DCS) had indicated him, put a no contact order in place, and the Police Dept. NEVER did an investigation as they claim to have done!!!!
