A few million people all over the globe were very worried about today.
It’s the last day of the 5,125 year cycle in the Mayan calendar, and many thought today would be our last day. Some even said this would be “The Apocalypse” and I was sort of hoping it would be.
Maybe it’s because I’m tired of knowing the best years of my life and the best years of my daughter’s life were stolen from us. Not the kind of “stolen” that happens when lives end – the kind of “stolen” as in the never-ending excruciating torture of being sucked into the endless family court nightmare… year after year after year.
I write articles for this website. I post random information on Facebook. I’ve been thinking all of this work will help. It hasn’t helped.
Those in power in our family courts still force mothers and fathers to be “litigants” instead of parents. Family court judges order abused children to live with their identified abusers. Criminals run our family courts. Either no one cares or no one has been able to do anything about criminals running our family courts.
Bill Windsor is a great guy from Georgia. He’s very close to achieving his goal of visiting every state in this country to film thousands (that’s right, thousands) of victims of court corruption for the documentary, Lawless America: The Movie.
What he’s doing is unprecedented. It’s the biggest news in the history of the courts in this country… So… where are the mainstream media outlets to report about what Bill Windsor’s doing? Where’s The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS and CNN? Where’s the FBI to investigate the massive levels of corruption that Bill Windsor’s team has uncovered? Nowhere.
Nowhere. See, that’s why I was hoping The Apocalypse would come.
I was thinking this morning, “What’s the point? If the mainstream media won’t report what’s been happening in our court systems, no one will know what’s been happening. If no one knows what’s been happening, nobody will be able to do anything about it.” (Here’s a wink here for Lawless America fans… 😉 “nobody” – get it? )
Then I saw a comment on Facebook about the origin of the word apocalypse – which we’ve rendered from the Greek word a)pokalu/ptw .
According to Studylight.org, a)pokalu/ptw means:
“to uncover, lay open what has been veiled or covered up,
to make known, make manifest, disclose what before was unknown”
Well, it’s almost evening where we live and it looks like maybe the world won’t end today after all.
I’m still hoping today is “The Apocalypse” – except now I’m hoping for that other kind of apocalypse.
May the year 2013 be “The Year of the Whistleblower”. May all that has been covered be uncovered. May all that was unknown be known. Lucy Stone’s quote is at the top of this website for a good reason.
As she once said:
“Now all we need is to continue to speak the truth fearlessly,
and we shall add to our number those who will turn the scale to the side of equal and full justice
in all things.”
I knew The Apocalypse would eventually come. I just didn’t know how wonderful it would be. 🙂
