The statistics speak for themselves.
We need a Best Interests of the Child Summit in every state. If you’re in contact with your state representative, ask them to contact Michigan State Representative Kurt Damrow to get the blueprint…

Best Interests of the Child Summit
Hosted by
State Representative Kurt Damrow
Why does the US, one of the most prosperous nations on earth, have the worst child abuse record in the world?
America’s child maltreatment death rate is triple Canada’s and 11 times that of Italy. Over the past decade, more than 20,000 American children have been killed by their own family members – that is nearly four times the number of US soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Five children are murdered a day by a family member, that is the equivalent of 70 classrooms of children a year.
Together we can make Michigan become known as the safest state in the country to raise our children.
This is a summit where real mothers, fathers, and grandparents will come together for the first time and share their stories, their losses. All of these are Michigan stories, all of them are tragic. We understand how hard it is for them, we applaud them their courage, strength, and their fight to stop another child from suffering the same fate as their loved ones. Please join us and help us get their voices heard.
We ask that anyone that has an interest in children attend this event. Everyone except for young children, as most of these stories are too graphic for a child to understand. Understand if they are too young to hear it, they are too young to live it.
Judges, Attorneys, Pediatricians, Medical and Mental Health Professionals, Law Enforcement, Social Workers, Child and Domestic Violence Advocates, Legislatures, Families and Friends we encourage you to not only attend this event but to share your knowledge with us.
Just because Michigan implemented “Best interest of Children” does not mean they use it accordingly. Judges an attorneys are so corrupt, it is a sin…….
Deanna Kloostra from Abused Swan will be talking at the event. Michigan for Parental Rights will be filming and creating a video. Hope you can make it!
