BREAKING NEWS: WHITE HOUSE ADVISOR ON VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN TO HEAR FROM FAMILY LAW ADVOCATES AND LITIGANTS TOMORROW! 

 

This Wednesday, Lynn Rosenthal — White House Advisor on Violence Against Women — will be participating in a “listening session” at the NCADV/NOMAS national conference on ending violence in Anaheim, CA. Lynn will listen to advocates and litigants talk about the problems in family court and the reforms that are needed.

 

   Please come and share your proposed solutions with Lynn directly.

CALIFORNIA COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN PUBLIC HEARINGS 

 We had a great turnout of family law litigants at the last set of hearings two years ago, ensuring that family law reform became one of the Commission’s top priorities, so let’s be sure to turn out in numbers this year.

The California Commission on the Status of Women is holding a series of public hearings to provide a forum for Californians to voice their opinions about the real problems faced by women and girls every day. Information obtained from the hearings will assist in the Commission’s ongoing work to achieve equal opportunities for all women and girls.
